@gs455 – I never knew that this car was a convertible AND had a removable hard top. Was this standard for all of these T-birds? ...
Hi, GS 455: A soft top and hardtop were available on all 2-passenger thunderbirds--both the 1955-1957 and the 2002-2006 series. On the first series the purchaser could choose whether the "free" top was the hardtop or the soft top (and could, of course, purchase both); on the later series ('02-'06) the automatic soft top was standard on all of the cars and the hardtop was an extra cost option, either as part of a package or separately. In the case of this 2004 it was a $2,500 option.
