@ClassicDealer – Thanks again for all your help so far. To move forward with potentially registering the Humvee for road use here in Georgia, I’d like to make sure I have all the necessary documentation upfront to streamline the titling process. Would you be able to provide the following: - SF-97 (Certificate to Obtain Title) – If you received this from GovPlanet or another government sale, it’s essential for titling. - Bill of Sale – Including vehicle description, VIN or serial number, date, sale amount, and signatures. - Any prior title (if it’s already been titled in another state or registered). - Photos of VIN or serial number plate(s). These help with verification here in GA. - Receipts or records for any road-legal modifications like brake lights, seatbelts, turn signals, etc. – This supports inspection requirements. Let me know which of these you already have on hand, and I’d be happy to clarify anything if needed. This will really help me move forward confidently. Thanks again, Brad ...
Hi Brad, The Truck already registered in the state of Vermont and I provided a copy of the registration to the Autohunter.. crew. For my understanding I am selling you a Truck that already was title in the Vermont after providing them that SF 97. So I don't have SF97 .I have a Vermont Registration. There is a company that I used .dirt legal that what they do .As for the other requests. I only added reverse lights . The rest is OEM . I hope that info help you . I will reach out to Auto Hunter as well .

@ClassicDealer – Thanks you for your prompt replies to my previous questions—I really appreciate it. I’ve reviewed the listing in more detail and noticed the note stating that the “gear hubs and brakes need checks.” Could you clarify a few things for me: - Are the gear hubs showing any signs of leaking, unusual noise, or mechanical wear? - Do the brakes currently function properly, or are there specific issues you've noticed—such as reduced stopping power, fluid leaks, or pedal feel? - Has any mechanic recently inspected these components, or is this just a precautionary note? Looking forward to your insight. Thanks again for your time. Best, Brad ...
Hi Brad The brakes working fine but the squeak after heavy use and I took it to mechanic shop and he suggested to charge the brakes pads and rotors. As for the Gears Hub there is a noise from the front passenger side and the same shop look at them And front side leaks and recommend to replace seals. I hope that answers your questions. Thanks Weam

@ClassicDealer – Very interested—could you clarify a few key points? - Who completed the build and are there records for the engine swap and modifications? - Is it street legal in all states, and how is it titled (e.g., AM General, Hummer, kit)? - Are there any issues with insuring or registering it due to the custom build? - What’s the mileage on the chassis vs. the new drivetrain? - Are there receipts or documentation for the parts and labor involved in the build? Thanks in advance. ...
Hi I have a record from the government that states 10500 miles on the truck. The speedometer doesn't work however the Tachometer work and it show 1400 hr. Which I estimated to be 14000+- Thanks

Hi Thanks for your interest. I did the build and hired couple of fabrictors and couple of mechanics. To help install the OEM slant back roof system. And I added the OEM aluminum doors. As for the engine it's still the original that came from the military 6.5L Turbo charged Diesel with 4 speed Transmission.. I did replace few parts listed in the description such as : New Turbo pumps. Etc . I have a registration from Vermont and can send you a copy it does state AM General. and not sure what state laws you have .but you can always create Montana title and you will be able to drive in your name anywhere in the USA. As for the Insurance I have mine with progressive with my other vehicles 40/months. I do have all records photos and receipts to show progress from start to finish. This Truck is something that you don't see a lot of and it always gets compliments due to it uniquenss. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks Weam
