INTERIOR – FEATURES

The bucket seats are upholstered in red and graphite leather. Power features include the windows, locks, brakes, steering, mirrors, hatch release, and seats. INTERIOR – GAUGES

The digital instrumentation consists of a speedometer, a tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel economy. With 30,000 miles added during current ownership, the odometer reads 116,253, which the seller reports being accurate. The last reported mileage of 104,892 was logged in the CARFAX report on October 15, 2013.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by an L98 5.7-liter V8 and backed by a 4+3 Doug Nash overdrive manual transmission equipped with new gears, a rebuilt overdrive unit, and a new clutch. Engine bay features include new fuel injector O-rings and gaskets, a Hypertech Street Runner computer chip, a PerTronix high-output coil, a K&N air filter, ceramic-coated headers, a new alternator, a new water pump, a new master cylinder, and a new radiator. All fluids have been flushed and replaced. An oil change was completed in the fall of 2022.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Corvette was factory-equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension, a rear drive axle, and the Z51 Performance Handling Package. Braking is provided by power four-wheel discs. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers exits at the rear. Newer parts include the Power Slot rotors, Hawk Performance brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, and Z51-spec shocks.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report starts on March 10, 1987 and shows ownership in Illinois, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. An accident that caused minor damage to the rear was reported on April 29, 2016. According to the seller, another vehicle tapped the rear end of the Corvette at a traffic light, but the accident did not require anything to be replaced.
