350-Powered 1936 Ford 5-Window Coupe

OVERVIEW

This steel-bodied 1936 Ford five-window coupe was previously used as a display in an indoor automotive event venue. It is powered by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 that comes paired with an Edelbrock carburetor, an automatic choke, and a rebuilt TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes new U.S. Mags wheels, new BFGoodrich tires, a Weiand intake, electronic ignition, headers, and a custom dual exhaust system. Finished in red over a custom white vinyl interior, this vintage Ford comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The red exterior features a two-panel horizontal grille, a single top-mounted windshield wiper, body-color running boards, and a matching rear panel that opens to deploy the rear rumble seat. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

The new 15-inch U.S. Mags Indy wheels are wrapped in 195/60R15 front and 255/70R15 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. According to the selling dealer, the tires were installed in 2022 and have less than 50 miles on them.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The custom interior is furnished with a white vinyl split bench seat in the front, a matching armrest for the front occupants, and white pleated door panels. Woodgrain trim is found on the rim of the three-spoke banjo steering wheel and the dashboard. Amenities include a floor-mounted automatic shifter, a cue ball-style shift knob, and Vintage Air air conditioning with controls located in the glove compartment. According to the selling dealer, there is some slight yellowing on the white upholstery.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

Instrumentation from VDO includes a 120-mph speedometer along with gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 8,127 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power comes from a 350ci Chevrolet V8 paired with a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt in November 2021. Performance upgrades include electronic ignition, headers, a Weiand intake, and an Edelbrock Performer #1406 600-cfm carburetor with an automatic choke.
