EXTERIOR - FEATURES

During the restoration, the exterior was refinished in Molten Orange, a color offered on the first-generation Ford F-150 Raptor. Features include custom headlights and taillights, newer chrome, a four-piece hood, dual mirrors, a V-butt windshield, shaved door handles with electric actuators, color-keyed running boards, a smoothed tailgate with hidden latches, a wood bed floor with stainless strips, and a custom rear roll pan with integrated exhaust outlets.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 20-inch American Racing VN47 Burnout wheels is wrapped in 245/35 front and 275/35 rear Hankook Ventus V12 EVO radial tires. The seller states that the tires have fewer than 1,500 miles on them.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The bench seat and custom door panels have been upholstered in tan leather. Features include manual windows; Lokar automatic shifter and handbrake levers; a BOSS hidden audio system with Bluetooth, a subwoofer, and an amplifier; a Painless Wiring harness; and a tilt steering column.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a rebuilt Chevrolet 327ci V8 and backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features include a polished aluminum Weiand intake, a 650-cfm Edelbrock carburetor, a polished aluminum oval air cleaner, a chrome alternator, and tube exhaust headers. Internal engine features include a 1968 327ci block, a large journal crank, a COMP Cams Xtreme Energy hydraulic camshaft, a Mallory Unilite distributor, Speed Pro forged pistons, and Chevrolet double-hump "fuelie" cylinder heads. The seller states that this pickup does not have air conditioning or heat.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The original chassis has been modified with the addition of a Heidts Mustang II independent front suspension with coilover shocks, rack-and-pinion steering, and a one-inch sway bar. A 1978 Chevrolet Camaro 10-bolt rear end with 3.73:1 gearing has also been added. Braking is provided by CPP front discs and rear drums.
