LS3-Powered 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

This rust-free 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door sedan is powered by a fuel-injected 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine backed by a 4L65-E 4-speed automatic transmission. Features include Wilwood power disc brakes, power windows, digital gauges, power seats, a Bluetooth-compatible stereo, rack-and-pinion power steering, Corvette suspension hardware, and air conditioning. This refinished two-tone dark gray and metallic silver Bel Air with a two-tone gray leather interior is available now and comes with new, uninstalled parts including an intake, fuel rails, and a Kenny Bell supercharger as well as a clear title.

The exterior was repainted in a Toyota-sourced dark gray and a Lexus-sourced metallic silver nine years ago under previous ownership. Features include chrome front and rear bumpers, dual headlights, tinted glass, chrome driver- and passenger-side mirror caps, Bel Air side trim and emblems, and dual taillights with integrated reverse lights.

A set of 18-inch Budnik aluminum wheels with gray centers are wrapped in new Continental radial tires that measure 245/45 at the front and 275/45 at the rear.

The power front bucket seats, rear bucket seats, interior trim, and door panels are upholstered in gray and cream leather. Features include a full-length gray center console with an aftermarket Bluetooth stereo head unit, automatic transmission shifter, front and rear cup holders, and a storage compartment; black carpeting; seat belts; power windows; a gray leather headliner; a steel dashboard refinished to match the gray on the exterior; electric windshield wipers; air conditioning; polished billet aluminum dashboard trim; and a polished tilt steering column topped with a metallic gray 3-spoke steering wheel. 

A set of aftermarket Classic Instruments analog gauges including a 140-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are mounted in a chrome bezel ahead of the driver. According to the seller, the tachometer is currently not working and needs to be rewired.

Power is provided by a fuel-injected 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine backed by a 4L65E 4-speed automatic transmission. According to the seller, output is 525 horsepower. Features include a smooth firewall, a polished fresh air intake, body-color coil covers with LS-376 logos, tubular headers, power steering, and air conditioning.

The car is equipped with a Paul Newman Car Creations Corvette front and rear independent suspension. Features include a full-length ceramic-coated dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers, a polished stainless gas tank, gray splash pans and inner fender wells, matte black body floors, and gloss black frame rails. Stopping power is provided by a hidden power brake booster and master cylinder and Wilwood cross-drilled and slotted disc brakes.
