Vehicle Story

This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet is finished in Midnight Blue with a color-matched soft top over a navy-blue leather interior. Having covered just over 18K miles since new, 10K has been added in 17 years of ownership by the seller. Power derives from a 3.2L inline-six engine paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels. Optioned from the factory, the E320 features heated orthopedic seats, acceleration slip control, automatic climate control, car phone, and a 6-disc CD changer. Sold new in Boca Grande, Florida, the car was retained by the original owner until 2004 when the current owner acquired it and it remained in Florida until being relocated to Connecticut in 2016. Now offered, this W124 comes with all factory literature, maintenance records since the seller's acquisition, original window sticker, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Florida title in the seller's name.

Finished in Midnight Blue with a color-matched power soft top, the car retains all of its original paint. A red pinstripe runs the length of the sides and around the trunk along the upper body line, while polished trim pieces surround the car on the lower body line. Exterior features include headlight washers and wipers, egg-crate style grille, a heated glass rear window, power-adjustable mirrors, and a power antenna.

The car retains the original factory 15” alloy eight-hole wheels wrapped in Yokohama tires on all four corners. Braking is handled by anti-lock power-assisted discs measuring 294mm in the front and 278mm in the rear.

The interior is equipped with bucket seats upholstered in navy blue leather with matching door panels, dash pad, and carpets. A wood grain trimmed center console houses the shift lever for the automatic transmission as well as controls for the power windows and remote mirrors. Additional wood grain accents are found on the dash and door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable, heated, and orthopedic front seats with driver-side memory settings, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The factory Becker radio is retained along with a 6-disc trunk-mounted CD changer. A Motorola car phone was installed by the selling dealer when the car was new, though service is no longer available.

The black 4-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a power-adjustable column and located in front of the original instrument cluster.  A 160-mph speedometer is featured in the center with and a 7k tachometer and clock to the right, while readouts for fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure are located on the left. The six-digit analog odometer shows just over 18K miles, 10K of which have been added by the seller in their 17 years of ownership.

The 3.2L M104 inline-6 engine was redesigned for 1995 and utilized a dual overhead camshaft design with 4 valves per cylinder to produce 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4G-Tronic 4-speed automatic transmission and limited-slip rear differential. Recent service work includes an oil change and comprehensive inspection performed in anticipation of sale.

The clean CARFAX report shows just 2 owners from new, with no reported accidents or damage and services logged at Mercedes Benz of Naples and Mercedes Benz of Greenwich. Located in Greenwich Connecticut, this E320 Cabriolet is now offered for sale with the original books, window sticker, and all service records from the current owner's tenure.
