This 1958 Chevrolet Corvette has been with the seller since 1990, who describes a frame-off restoration in the 1980s and more recent work in the form of a respray, refurbished trunk compartment, replaced soft top, restored hardtop, and other maintenance performed within the last five years. Power comes from a numbers-matching high-output 270-horsepower 283ci V8 which makes this Corvette one of 978 produced for its year, and the drivetrain consists of a 4-speed manual transmission while other equipment includes an 8,000-rpm tachometer and a signal-seeking Delco Wonderbar radio. The faux-louvered hood was exclusive to the 1958 model year and tailpipes for the exhaust dump through the rear bumper. The seller describes a restoration carried out in the 1980s, and a score of 97 by the National Corvette Restorers Society post-completion.

Tires are a set of Firestone Deluxe Champion whitewalls which originally corresponded to option code 290 at a cost of $31.55 in 1958. They are mounted on a set of wheels wearing original covers complete with faux knock-off spinners.
