Reserve Removed: 1973 Ford Bronco

This 1973 Ford Bronco is a customized 4x4 that has been with the seller for 10 years. Power is provided by a replacement crate 302ci V8 paired with a 3-speed manual transmission and fitted with an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley fuel pump, an MSD ignition system, and a recently-replaced water pump, starter, and alternator. Other features include a new, upgraded suspension, rebuilt brakes, steel bumpers, locking differentials, and more. Finished in Silver Metallic with custom interior seating, this Bronco is now offered with refurbishment receipts and a clear Georgia title in the seller’s name.

The body was professionally repainted Silver Metallic as part of a body-on restoration in 2012, and modifications/additions include black fender flares, custom ¼” steel black bumpers, a black grille, a tubular roll bar, a black canvas bikini top, and a tow receiver. Lighting is reported to have been replaced within the last year and paint imperfections consist of some orange peel and other age-related wear and tear.

Factory black-finished steel wheels are wrapped in 35” Pitbull Rocker tires in like-new condition. Steering is managed by a heavy-duty power steering kit with Heim joints and a Ford F100 steering box, and the drum brakes were rebuilt in the last year.

The interior is fitted with custom bucket seats up front, a black vinyl bench in the rear, diamond-plated door and rear panels, a black dashboard, and black flooring that is coated with a spray-on bedliner.

Instrumentation is framed by a 3-spoke steering wheel and consists of new Dakota gauges. The digital odometer is reported to show approximately 330 miles, though true chassis mileage is unknown.

The replacement crate 302ci V8 was sourced from ATK Performance and is reported to have approximately 2k miles on it. Upgrades include chrome-finished valve covers, an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor, a Holley fuel pump, stainless-steel braided fuel lines, and an MSD ignition system. Recent maintenance has included the replacement of the water pump, starter, and alternator. The exhaust system consists of long tube headers and a dual-outlet system, and the electrical system includes a new harness. Power is transferred to all 4 wheels via a 3-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case with locking differentials.  

The entire suspension is new with replacement shocks, long-travel radius arms, progressive coils up front, and 11-leaf packs in the rear. Additional photos showing the underside are provided in the gallery.
