This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray sports coupe is offered with 100% of sale proceeds (excluding the buyers premium) going to benefit a nonprofit organization serving children in foster care, Fostering Community. It is powered by a 350ci V8 with a performance camshaft and Edelbrock air cleaner, and motivation is sent to the rear wheels via a 3-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, a dual exhaust system, and a luggage rack. Finished in Steel Grey over a black vinyl interior, this C3 Corvette is accompanied by an extra set of original equipment replica wheels and a clear Louisiana title in the seller’s name.

This Corvette was professionally repainted in Steel Grey metallic with color-matched removable T-tops. It has C3 pop-up headlamps, chrome bumpers, and vented front fenders which bear Stingray emblems. Fiberglass bodywork presents well throughout. A trunk-mounted luggage rack is fitted, along with quad round tail lamps and a dual exhaust system.

Aftermarket 5-spoke polished aluminum wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires with raised white lettering. Handling is aided by a power steering system, while the brakes are also power assisted and feature discs all around. A set of original equipment replica wheels is included with the sale.

The interior is fitted with black vinyl bucket seats and matching door panels, dash, and carpeting, along with a center console which splits the cabin. Custom Corvette embroidered floor mats are installed in the footwells. Amenities include factory air conditioning and a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette deck.

Instrumentation is framed by a 3-spoke steering wheel and includes a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, along with console-mounted gauges for fuel pressure, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage, in addition to an analog clock. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reads 1k miles, which are believed to be 101k. True mileage of the chassis is unknown.

The rebuilt 350ci V8 features a chrome-finished Edelbrock air cleaner and a high-performance camshaft, and resides in a matte black painted engine bay. The ZQ3 variant of the Chevrolet 350 small block was rated at 270 horsepower with 300 lb-ft of torque for the 1971 model year. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and a console-mounted shift lever.
