Thanks for the compliments. The previous owners put A Lot of money into this car. I have simply driven it and kept it up. As you mentioned, with all the new stuff and rebuilds the total mileage is probably not too big of a deal. I own a dozen other cars. Everything from a factory Cobra to the VW to a LS 6SPD resto-mod and some very stock cruisers. I'm into condition as opposed to mileage.
@WaltC – Hi Mike. There is no way to know for sure what actual mileage is. The odometer is exempt under federal law after 10 years. Obviously the car has had a bunch of work for it to present like this. As best I can tell, the heater sort of works. I live in Alabama so not a concern here. I spent student loan money on cars too. A BMW 1600. let me know if you need anything. ...

@MaineMike – Hello there, confirming that there is 107,000 miles on this beauty. And, a standard VW Super Beetle question; Does the heat work? This is just like my very first car back in 1981. Except it was all chrome where your trim is black. Mine had a sun roof that I bought on JC Whitney back in the day. It was even curved to match the roof contour. Man I have some great memories of that 1974 orange SB I had. I put three student loans into mine just to keep it running during college. :-) ...
