This 1974 MG MGB roadster was acquired from the seller's father, an auto body specialist, nine years ago and is powered by a rebuilt 1798cc inline-four mated to a manual transmission. A mechanical and interior refurbishment was carried out in 2013, and the car has seen approximately 5k miles of road use since. This MGB is finished in black over black vinyl and is offered with air conditioning, a Bluetooth sound system, and a clear Georgia title in the seller's name.
The black paint and bodywork are reported to be in good condition per the seller, who purchased the car from her auto body specialist father nine years ago. A black convertible top is fitted.
Factory steel wheels are wrapped in 135/70 tires.
A complete refresh of the interior was commissioned in 2013, with new black vinyl and matching dash, console, and door skins.
Chrome-rimmed gauges are fronted by a 3-spoke steering wheel, and the car is fitted with air conditioning. Current mileage is unknown, but approximately 5k miles have been driven since the 2013 engine rebuild.
Power is provided by a rebuilt 1798cc inline-four paired with a 4-speed manual transmission.
Additional photos of the undercarriage can be found in the galllery.
Documentation of the work performed will go with the car.
