OVERVIEW
This 1990 Suzuki Carry is a lifted four-wheel-drive Kei-class compact pickup that originated in Japan and was subsequently imported to the United States. It is powered by a 660cc inline-three paired with a five-speed manual transmission. According to the selling dealer, it is presented as a driver-grade utility vehicle that could either be restored or driven as-is. Finished in matte green over a two-tone gray vinyl and fabric interior, this Carry is now offered by the dealer with importation paperwork and a bill of sale since it is being sold in a state that does not issue titles for such vehicles.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
A photo of the trim/data tag shows that this vehicle originally came painted in Polar White (code 26U). The exterior is currently matte green and features camouflage accents as well as black finishes for the front bumper, handles, window trim, and side mirrors. Features include B-pillar marker lights, back window guards, fold-down bedsides, bedside cargo hooks, and a fold-down tailgate.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Black 15-inch wheels are wrapped in older 175/80 Bridgestone Blizzak tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The right-hand-drive cab interior is fitted with two-tone gray cloth and vinyl upholstery for the two seats and gray vinyl door panels. Features include manual-crank windows, a heater, an inoperative radio, and a Carry-branded rubber floor mat.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 120-km/h speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 32,428 kilometers (20,150 miles); the dealer asserts that this is the true kilometrage on the vehicle.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 660cc inline-three received a recent oil change. An oil leak has been noted by the selling dealer, but its source is not known. Power is sent to all four wheels via floor-mounted five-speed manual transmission and transfer case shifters.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The suspension has a lift kit.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The sale includes importation paperwork and a bill of sale, as the vehicle is being sold in a state that does not issue titles for vehicles of this nature. The dealer has provided a series of videos showing the exterior, interior, underbody, and accessories as well as a cold start and a driving demonstration.

OK, this auction is going to have to be cancelled or postponed. After spending hours on the phone with the state of Michigan and being transferred around several times, they told me I need an ORV title in order to sell the vehicle. I cannot sell it and wait for the title to come, they said the title needs to be in hand before I can legally sell it. I have contacted autohunter and told them I need to postpone the auction. This is a real bummer because I want it sold. I apologize, but I need to follow the state of Michigan law and will not cut corners. I have to get a surety bond and have a police officer inspect the VIN in order for them to process the title
Update on the title, I went ahead and jumped through the hoops and submitted the paperwork to the state to get an orv title. Again, not confident that they will issue one.

Hello, So I just spent an hour on the phone with the state of Michigan trying to get to the bottom of being able to get a title for this vehicle. The first time I spoke to them months ago they stated they don't issue titles of any kind. This time, they had to transfer me to several people there is a way to get an ORV title, but there is a lot involved including getting a surety bond, police inspection, etc. Therefore this will still be sold on a bill of sale unless you live in Michigan than we will have to go thru the process of trying to get an ORV title which I have very little confisence n the state.
