OVERVIEW
This restored 1962 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a 350cid V8 backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include an AM/FM radio, air conditioning, a factory tachometer, a rear antenna, and front disc brakes. Finished in red and equipped with a manual soft top over a red vinyl interior, this Corvette comes from the selling dealer with a red lift-off hardtop and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in red and equipped with a manual soft top. Features include chrome bumpers, a manual cowl vent, rocker and cove trim, and a rear antenna. A walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black steel 15-inch wheels with full hubcaps is wrapped in whitewall radial tires. The driver-side rear hub cap is missing.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with red vinyl bucket seats surrounded by red vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows and steering, a floor-mounted automatic transmission shifter, air conditioning, and an AM/FM radio.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery are located ahead of the driver. A clock is mounted under the radio. The odometer reads 72,413 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The original 327cid V8 has been replaced with a 350cid V8, which is backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include finned aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, and a polished air cleaner.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Corvette was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
