2009 Jaguar XJ Portfolio

This 2009 Jaguar XJ8L was produced in Coventry, England in July 2008 and is 1 of 140 units produced in its configuration of Astral Gold over beige leather.  It features 20-inch Selena alloy wheels and Portfolio trim amenities.  The car is powered by a supercharged 4.2-liter V8 paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.  It was originally sold in Fort Pierce, Florida where it resided until being relocated to New York in 2016.  It was subsequently returned to Florida in 2020 and is now offered with a CARFAX report on a clean Florida title in the seller’s name. 

The car is painted Astral Gold (2123) and features factory fog lights within the front bumper, as well as Xenon headlights.  The grilles are fitted with mesh inserts, and the Jaguar crest is mounted within the center.  The exterior includes chrome-finished side-view mirror caps and has a power-operated sliding moonroof. Dual exhausts are equipped at the rear, and a chrome accent strip is featured across the trunk lid. 

The car rides on 20” Selena alloy wheels which are included in the Portfolio trim.  Cross-drilled and slotted brake rotors are equipped all around, with anti-lock braking and traction control systems equipped. 

The interior is fitted with blue carpeting and beige leather bucket seats with blue piping that are power-operated, heated, and ventilated.  Blue embroidered floor mats with the Jaguar logo protect the carpets, and teak wood trim is equipped in the center console, dash, and door panels.  Factory options include rear-seat entertainment, which functions with no issue, an Alcantara headliner, a navigation system, automatic headlights, and an Alpine audio system.  An analog clock is mounted in the center dash, while the rear doors are equipped with sunshades.

Instrumentation includes a 170-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, along with accompanying gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature.  The digital odometer reads 119k miles, which are original to the vehicle. 

The supercharged 4.2-liter 32-valve V8 is original to the vehicle and was factory-rated at 400 horsepower.  Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission and a gated console-mounted shift lever.

The CARFAX report shows accident damage to the rear in May 2012 with no additional details available.  The vehicle passed a New York state safety inspection November 2019.  The sale includes two keys and a factory owner’s manual.
