OVERVIEW
This two-owner 1974 Plymouth Valiant with 23K miles is powered by a 318ci V8 engine backed by a TorqueFlite automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning, a remote driver-side mirror, and an AM radio. Finished in tan with a matching vinyl roof over a Gold vinyl and cloth interior, this Plymouth is available now and comes with the original window sticker and a clear Georgia title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The exterior is finished in the original tan paint. Features include chrome bumpers with padded chrome bumper guards, a silver grille, dual headlights, side impact moldings with black vinyl inserts, fender-mounted turn signal indicators, a manual remote driver-side mirror, door window visors, wheel opening and rocker moldings, a tan vinyl top, and dual taillights with integrated reverse lights. The seller notes light scratches on the body.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of steel wheels with deluxe wheel covers is wrapped in new Nexen whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bench seat and matching rear seat are upholstered with Gold vinyl and cloth. Features include tan carpeting with tan vinyl floor mats, gold door panels with woodgrain inserts and manual windows, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, a column-mounted automatic shifter, woodgrain accents, and an AM radio.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and alternator are mounted in a woodgrain panel ahead of the driver. With 500 miles added during current ownership, the odometer reads 23K miles, which the seller believes to be accurate. They state that all lights and gauges work except for the fuel gauge.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 318ci V8 engine backed by a TorqueFlite automatic transmission. All original air intake and emissions components are present. Parts installed within the last two months include the fuel pump, battery, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. Additionally, the oil was changed within the same timeframe.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Valiant was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by recently serviced power front discs and rear drums. A single exhaust outlet exits at the rear. The seller states that a new gas tank and gas tank sending unit were installed in July. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be found in the carousel to the right.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This Plymouth was previously sold on AutoHunter, but it is being relisted after the buyer backed out of the transaction through no fault of the seller. The seller will include the original window sticker with the sale.

My only concern is with low mileage the car has why did we need to do the fuel pump, gas tank and sending unit? My home phone is 858-748-2345. @Vargasmarcos – I think the fuel gauge needs to be replace. I drive it on the weekends, I have too many cars to just drive one every day but runs great no issues to start it. The bidder was bidding for some else and he changed his mind at the last minute. Yes if you win the bid and wire the money I can keep it in my garage until you get a Transporter.
