OVERVIEW
This modified 1986 Chevrolet El Camino coupe utility is powered by a turbocharged LS 5.3-liter V8 mated to a 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission. It rides on a set of 18-inch Year One wheels and features air conditioning, a center console, a CD player, and auxiliary gauges. Finished in a black repaint over a dark blue vinyl and gray cloth interior, this fifth-generation El Camino is now offered with service records, an accident-free CARFAX report, and a clear Pennsylvania title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body was repainted black under the seller’s ownership. Exterior features include quad headlights, chrome bumpers, sport mirror caps, a dual exhaust system, a protective rubber bed mat, and LS-X badging on the grille and fenders. The hood ornament and side marker lights have been shaved.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Aluminum 18-inch Year One wheels with Chevrolet-branded center caps are wrapped in new tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is fitted with dark blue vinyl and gray cloth bucket seats. Amenities include air conditioning, a center console with covered storage, rubber floor mats, and a newer Delco Electronics AM/FM/CD head unit.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer and factory gauges that show the fuel level and coolant temperature. A pair of AEM aftermarket gauges have been mounted to the center console and display the air/fuel ratio and boost pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 252 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. According to the CARFAX report, an Exceeds Mechanical Limits title was issued several times, starting in October 1992 when the odometer read 108,083 miles.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The turbocharged 5.3-liter LS V8 has been serviced within the last month per the seller and reportedly runs well. Power is sent to the back wheels via a console-shifted four-speed 4L80E automatic transmission. The transmission's internal wiring harness has been changed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The rear differential has 3.08:1 gearing.

The work was done between 2009 and 2019 by the previous owner in Columbus Indiana. It has a bigger cam and fuel injectors in it. The air fuel ratio is at 12 and the boost runs around 14 at idle. It is very strong and fast.
How's it tuned, and who's it tuned by? How long has the combination been together?

There are no cats on it . It has heavy duty shocks on the front and air shocks on the rear.
Nicely done el Camino , just to know before I bid does it have all smog on it ? Cats etc , here. In Cali smog laws are real tuff, All have you done any suspension work sway bars ,gas shocks ,lowering springs? Thank u in advance
