OVERVIEW
This 1957 Ford Thunderbird convertible has a color-matched removable hardtop as well as a folding soft top. It is powered by a 312ci Y-block V8 mated to a three-speed manual transmission and features whitewall tires, a radio, engine-turned aluminum interior trim, front disc brakes, and a custom-fabricated rumble seat. Finished in black over a new two-tone black and white vinyl interior, this first-generation Thunderbird is now offered with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The black exterior comes with a retractable soft top as well as a color-coordinated removable hardtop with porthole windows. Exterior features include re-chromed bumpers, a hood scoop, front fender accents, chrome brightwork, rear wheel skirts, a custom rumble seat area, and a dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Wire 14-inch wheels with knock-off spinner center caps are wrapped in whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cockpit is fitted with a new two-tone black and white vinyl bench seat that is matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include embroidered floor mats, a push-button radio, and a heater.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation is set within an engine-turned aluminum bezel and includes a 140-mph speedometer, a 5K-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads more than 30,000 miles, but the seller indicates that the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 312ci Y-block V8 has Thunderbird-branded valve covers and a chrome-finished air cleaner. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted three-speed manual transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping is handled by front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. Steering is power-assisted.

you know the best part of this car is no one will steal it because no one these days knows how to drive a manual transmission anymore. It is a nice car if i knew what the reserve was i would bid on it other wise, why bother if we are not going to get to it.
