OVERVIEW
This restored 1970 Buick GS 455 is powered by a 455ci V8 engine backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, Wilwood power front disc brakes, air conditioning, a Ram Air hood, an AM/FM stereo, bucket seats, and a center console. Finished in Jet Black over a saddle vinyl interior, this Buick GS is available now and comes with service records, documentation from the first owner, a build sheet, an owner’s manual, the removed original wheels, and a clear Texas title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The exterior was taken down to bare metal and refinished in Jet Black during the restoration process completed in 2013. Features include chrome bumpers, a Ram Air hood, color-keyed sport mirror housings, chrome wheel opening and rocker moldings, and GS emblems. The seller notes that a small rust bubble on the passenger-side panel near the bottom of the back glass and a small rust bubble on the driver's side of the trunk lid is visible, but the rust is not showing through the paint.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch chrome replica Buick GS wheels is wrapped in 255/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bucket seats, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in saddle vinyl. Features include a center console with a storage compartment, manual windows, power steering and brakes, air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo. The air conditioning has a small leak, but will hold a charge for approximately a year, according to the seller.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights for the brakes, coolant temperature, generator, and oil pressure are mounted ahead of the driver. Stewart-Warner oil pressure and amperage gauges are located under the dashboard. With approximately 500 miles logged during the seller's 12 years of ownership, the five-digit odometer reads 3,917 miles, which the seller believes to be accurate. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 455ci V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features include chrome valve covers, a chrome air cleaner with functional Ram Air inlets, and an aluminum intake.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This GS was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle, which reportedly has 3.73:1 gears. Braking is provided by power front Wilwood discs and rear drums. A full-length dual exhaust system exits through a pair of outlets at the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The seller will include service records, documentation from the first owner, a build sheet, an owner’s manual, and the removed original wheels as part of the sale.

@Iraq2004 – Thanks so much ...
Thank you for showing interest in the car, I hope this is the car for you. Happy bidding!!!
@detwilson – Thank you for the comment, I would not recommend trying to drive it that distance, the car was made to run on the track. I think the gas cost would be outrageous on top of that. Thanks again, I have enjoyed the car, and have taken care of it. Thanks for looking at it, happy bidding. ...

@Iraq2004 – This is a beautiful GS--Would there be any concerns about driving it from Beaumont to Austin? ...
