OVERVIEW
This restored 1948 Ford Convertible has been with the seller for 20 years and is powered by a 239ci flathead V8 engine backed by a three-speed manual transmission. Finished in red with a tan convertible top over a tan brown vinyl interior, this Ford is available now and comes with a Connecticut Registration Credential document.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The exterior was refinished in red during the restoration process completed in 2003. Features include chrome bumpers, chrome grille trim, stainless steel side moldings, and a tan convertible top with a plastic rear window. The seller states that there are two tears in the convertible top behind the rear side windows.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of red steel wheels with chrome dog dish hubcaps and trim rings is wrapped in whitewall bias-ply tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bench seat, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in tan brown vinyl. Features include manual steering, brakes, and windows; an AM/FM radio with CD player; a column-mounted manual shifter; a cream steering wheel with a full-circle horn ring; and an electric spotlight.
