40k-Mile 1999 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning

OVERVIEW

This 1999 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning performance pickup was built in the Ford Canada Ontario Truck Plant in June 1999. It comes equipped with a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 paired with a 4R100 four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. Features include Flowmaster side-exit exhaust outlets; a tonneau cover; a hitch receiver; an AM/FM/cassette radio with a six-disc CD changer; and power windows, locks, and mirrors. The engine has been upgraded with a Volant Performance intake and an oil catch can. Finished in Bright Red over a Medium Graphite cloth and Ebony leather interior, this 40K-mile F-150 Lightning is available now and comes from the selling dealer with three keys and key fob remotes, owner's manuals, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The Bright Red exterior features body-color bumpers, fog lights, black mirror caps, dual Flowmaster side-exit exhaust outlets on the passenger side, a hitch receiver, and a trailer lighting plug port. The Flareside bed has a black rubber load floor mat and a folding Rugged Liner Rugged Cover tonneau cover.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of silver factory 18-inch wheels wrapped in 295/45 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires connect this truck to the road.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with a pair of Medium Graphite cloth and Ebony leather seats connected by a center section with a fold-down storage compartment and a cup holder. The dashboard, door panels, and carpeting feature coordinating colors. Equipment includes power mirrors, locks, and windows; a power-adjustable driver's seat; a tilt steering column; cruise control; air conditioning; dual pop-out cup holders; and an AM/FM/cassette radio connected to a six-disc CD changer mounted in one of the two storage compartments behind the seats.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

Vehicle information is displayed on a set of white-faced gauges that includes a gear selection indicator, a 140-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, boost pressure, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 39,920 miles; the last mileage figure of 39,906 miles on the CARFAX report is dated August 2018.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The supercharged 5.4-liter V8 generated 360 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque when new. It has been upgraded with a Volant Performance intake and an oil catch can. A 4R100 four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip rear differential deliver the engine's output to the road.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The 1999 SVT Lightning came from the factory with a twin short- and long-arm suspension design, coil springs, shocks, and a solid stabilizer bar in the front and a solid axle, staggered shocks, leaf springs, and a solid stabilizer bar at the rear. Steering is provided by a power-assisted recirculating ball setup.
