Vehicle Story

This rust-free 1966 Ford Mustang coupe was built in Ford's San Jose, California assembly plant on June 13, 1966 and configured with a 200ci I6 and a C-4 3-speed automatic transmission. It features chrome bumpers, the original hubcaps, whitewall radial tires, and aftermarket LED taillights. Inside, it offers front bucket seats, a center console, and manual crank windows. Refinished in Wimbledon White over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Mustang is available now and comes from the selling dealer with its removed radio and a clear title.

Originally a Sauterne Gold car as denoted by the Z color code on the data plate, this Mustang has been repainted Wimbledon White. The exterior features chrome bumpers, a pony and corral in the middle of the grille, a driver-side mirror, aftermarket LED tri-bar taillights, and separate reverse lights. The selling dealer reports the glass does not have any cracks or stars in it.

The wheels have the reportedly original hub caps and are surrounded by whitewall radial tires.

The selling dealer reports this Mustang has its original black interior, which consists of vinyl front bucket seats, a matching vinyl rear bench, and a coordinating dual-cowl dashboard, door panels, carpeting, and headliner. Features include metallic trim, a center console, and manual crank windows. The trunk has a patterned vinyl floor liner and contains the car's removed radio.

The five-gauge cluster includes a 140-mph speedometer and readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, amps, and coolant temperature. The 5-digit odometer shows 8,369 miles.

Under the hood is a carbureted 200ci inline-6 engine that sends power to the road through a C-4 3-speed automatic transmission and the rear wheels.

The removed radio is included with the sale of the vehicle.
