Vehicle Story

This 2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 roadster has been driven 14,036 miles since new. It has been owned in California since new and features newer tires and an unmodified 8.3-liter V10 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Finished in red over a black leather interior, this ZB I-generation Viper is now offered with service records, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear California title in the seller’s name.

The original Viper sports car was introduced to the marketplace in 1991 as a two-seat sports car following a debut as the pace car of the Indianapolis 500. A second generation was launched in 1996 and a third generation in 2003, showcasing restyled bodywork coupled with a lighter and stronger aluminum frame. This low-mileage 2005 Viper is finished in red and has been garage-kept by the seller throughout their ownership. The body features a vented hood and fenders, HID headlights, side-exit exhausts, roll hoops, and a rear diffuser.

Polished aluminum 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels are wrapped in tires that were replaced 5K miles ago. Braking is handled by four-wheel power-assisted discs.

The cockpit is fitted with black leather bucket seats, matched to the door panels, dash, center console, and carpeting. Amenities include a six-disc CD sound system, air conditioning, and power windows.

Instrumentation includes a 220-mph speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer reads 14,036 miles, which is supported by the CARFAX report.

The 8.3-liter V10 was factory-rated at 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque when new. The CARFAX shows a history of maintenance carried out over the car’s lifetime, including the most recent service performed in May of 2022. The vehicle passed a California emissions inspection in May of 2021. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Pictures showing the condition of the underbody are available in the gallery to the right.

The CARFAX report shows no history of accidents or damage. There is an open recall dated 2019 regarding the occupant restraint control module and an available remedy. Service records are included with the sale of the vehicle. The seller has posted a video that shows the car in greater detail below.

My Viper is in PRISTINE condition both exterior, no flaws) and mechanically. Almost like it just rolled off assembly line. Very rare to be able to acquire a 2005 SRT Dodge Viper Roadster with ONLY 14K miles. Always been garaged, never raced- like a new car! A “showcase car” but so much fun and exhilarating to drive! A true classic American muscle car with only 14K miles! Congrats to whoever has the winning bid. Red Ryder
