Vehicle Story

This 4x4 1968 Ford Bronco has been cosmetically preserved, but mechanically rebuilt where necessary. It features a completely rebuilt original engine, an inline-6 backed by a 3-speed manual transmission with column shift. Upgrades include a rebuilt carburetor, distributor, and master cylinder and a new radiator, brake lines, belts, hoses, and drive shafts. The seller states the white interior is original except for a new seat cover and an older aftermarket radio. This Bronco has a patina on its U-code Caribbean Turquoise paint and white hardtop and is available now with new uninstalled glass, weatherstripping, and fenders; an owner's manual; and a clear Florida title.

The body of this Bronco is wearing most of its original code U Caribbean Turquoise paint. The factory hardtop and grill show original contrasting white paint. A black bumper with a winch and battery mount is located in the front. Seller states the body has never had any repairs, repaints, or bodywork. A white bumper and spare tire mount can be found at the rear. A video with exterior footage of the vehicle is posted below.

Seller states that the current tires hold air but are very old and recommends replacement.

According to the seller, the white interior is original except for a new white and gray seat cover and an older aftermarket radio. The dashboard houses the gauge cluster and climate controls and is topped with a black dash pad. In the glove box, the original warranty tag can be found. The black steering column is topped with a black steering wheel. The four-wheel drive selector is located in the center of the front floor. The rear cargo area wears its factory-applied Caribbean Turquoise paint. A black rubber floor mat covers the floorboards. An accessory gun rack is mounted on the inside of the driver’s rear window.

Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and more. The odometer shows approximately 78K miles, but true mileage is unknown.

The engine is reportedly the original 170ci I6 as noted by the letter F in the 4th character of the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on the warranty plate found on the glovebox door. According to the seller, the engine has a new radiator, belts, and hoses in addition to a rebuilt carburetor and distributor. It comes connected to a column-shift 3-speed manual gearbox. The video below shows the engine starting and idling.

Four-wheel drive front and rear axles are in place. Seller states driveshafts have been installed. A rebuilt master cylinder and new brake lines provide the stopping power.

An owner's manual and new uninstalled glass, weatherstripping, and fenders come with the purchase of this Bronco.
