This 1929 Ford Model A Tudor has driven 3,000 miles since restoration in 2013 and is presented as a solid, rust-free two-door sedan powered by a 201ci inline-four engine paired with a 3-speed sliding-gear manual transmission. This Model A has been owned long-term by a single-family and has been under the seller’s ownership since 2018, with recent work including replacement of the alternator, installation of a heater manifold, and an oil change. Finished in green with black fenders and running boards over a tan cloth interior, this Model A is now offered with a clear Iowa title in the seller’s name.
The Model A full-size Ford rolled out in 1927 in various body styles as a successor to the Model T. This Tudor sedan from 1929 has a rust-free body that was repainted green during restoration in 2013. The exterior has minor scratches and cracking consistent with age, as shown in the photo carousel. Equipment includes turn signals, chrome headlight rings and radiator shell, chrome dual-bar bumpers, a canvas roof, and a rear-mounted spare tire.
Wire-spoke wheels with bright center caps are wrapped in tires with black sidewalls. Suspension architecture consists of leaf springs. Braking is handled by four-wheel mechanical drums.
The interior is equipped with a rebuilt horn and outfitted with reupholstered tan cloth bucket seats along with matching door panels and map pockets. The dash is finished in gloss black and allows air in from a heater manifold in the engine bay.
Instrumentation is housed within a bright center-dash bezel and includes a speedometer, an ammeter, and a fuel gauge. The non-functioning five-digit mechanical odometer reads 3k miles. True mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The balanced 201ci inline-4 is housed within a center-hinged hood and has a replacement six-volt alternator. An oil change was performed in February 2021 per the seller, and power is directed to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 3-speed sliding-gear manual transmission.
