Vehicle Story

This 1975 Pontiac Firebird Esprit coupe received a fresh coat of red paint and factory-correct decals as part of a full restoration under current ownership. Power comes from a replacement small-block 350ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes honeycomb wheels, and a center console. Finished in red over a reupholstered black vinyl interior, this second-generation Firebird is now offered by the selling dealer with restoration documentation and a clear Florida title in the owner’s name.

The Firebird rides on a General Motors’ F-body platform and aged into its second generation beginning in model year 1970. For 1975, a wraparound rear window was added along with a revised roofline and modified turn signal placement. This example received a restoration under present ownership, which included a red respray, and has been garage-kept since that time. The hood displays a factory-correct “screaming chicken” decal, with a smaller version featured at the rear of the vehicle. The exterior features black-finished front and rear bumpers, chrome headlight bezels, body-color sideview mirrors, slatted taillamps, and an integrated rear spoiler.

Honeycomb-style 15” gold-accented wheels with Firebird center caps are wrapped in Milestar Streetsteel raised-white-letter tires, and handling is assisted by power steering and power brakes.

The 2+2 configuration interior is fitted with reupholstered high-back black vinyl bucket seats and color-matching door panels, center console, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include a radio and a three-spoke sport steering wheel.

Instrumentation is housed within an engine-turned trim bezel and consists of a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads approximately 36k miles, though true chassis mileage is unknown.

The replacement small-block 350ci V8 is reported to run and drive well and received a mechanical refresh as part of the restoration. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a 3-speed automatic transmission with a console-mounted lever.

The sale includes restoration documentation such as photos, receipts, and paperwork.

Hi Clint, If you read the initial description prior to posting you would have discovered that it showed AC. Proof of my assertion is that the Autohunter Admin comment under the tail shot clarified that and corrected the original copy. So, no. I am not blind but you are rude
